Author-it is a user-friendly software solution providing everything you need to author, manage, publish and deliver documentation from reusable content (topics, graphics etc).
Using Author-it, multiple users are able to work on a document at the same time, with all the content being stored and updated in a single central database known as the “Library”.
Because content is updated centrally instead of using “cut and paste”, any changes to critical content (legal notices, company overview, conditions of sale etc) are then reflected everywhere that content is used.
Documents are published directly to the most common printable and online formats (including HTML, PDF, MS Word, Online Help, XML, and DITA) with formatting being applied automatically – and based upon standard templates.
Reports published by Author-it clients show cost savings of as much as 75% during document lifecycles, even excluding potential savings from the optional Localization Manager module.
